
“Time Well Spent” is a cinema advertising campaign developed for BETESPECIAL as part of its launch within Brazil’s newly regulated gambling market.
Conceived as an anti-gambling message created by a gambling brand, the campaign reframes betting as occasional entertainment and highlights the value of real-life moments over constant play. At a time when most operators focus on “play more, win more,” the objective was to build trust, emotional connection and brand differentiation through a responsible and culturally fluent narrative.
I worked across the full creative process, from campaign ideation and concept development to visual direction and final delivery. Generative AI was used as a creative tool to produce original visual sequences, which were then refined through motion design, colour grading and sound design to meet the technical and narrative standards required for cinema advertising.
The final 15–20 second spot was released nationally in cinemas along Brazil, delivering a warm, emotionally restrained cinematic piece optimised for large-format projection and theatrical sound environments.
